  • Earth Materials

    Our natural walls are constructed from a blend of soil, sharp sand, hay, lime, water & cobwood to create long-lasting & permanent structures from raw materials.

  • Shape

    Extremely versatile in design, these buildings can take on various shapes: square, rectangular, oval… Or the classic traditional roundhouse form. Cobwood construction methods organically allow creativity & fluidity.

  • Size

    Each structure’s floor space typically ranges from 3-6 metres in diameter, with larger designs extending up to a giant 200 square metres.

  • Carefully Constructed

    Each building is meticulously constructed around a hardwood tree trunk ‘Henge’ frame, with 40 cm thick walls.

  • Crowning Glory

    Our self-supporting sweet chestnut ‘reciprocal’ roof frame gracefully supports a flourishing meadow roof.

  • Solid As Oak

    Purposefully engineered to endure the rigours of Continental weather patterns, spanning freezing winters to scorching summers.

  • Cobwood Comforts

    Wood-burning stoves, natural insulation, lighting. Naturally built, with nature & you in mind.

  • Making A Home

    Incorporating a mix of reclaimed stained glass windows, contemporary round windows, Larch wooden flooring with the option of a paved floor & solid reclaimed wood doors, each structure exudes a naturally inviting ambience and a completely one-of-a-kind space.
